Open beta.
All of it.
Every feature — the curvy routing, the smart stops, natural-language trip planning, the round-trip generator, unlimited saved trips, sharing, sync. No card, no cap, no trial clock. The focus right now is riders and roads, not pricing.
Everything. There's no paywall to read around.
Most route planners hide the natural-language planning, the curvy routing, or the multi-day stuff behind a subscription. During the beta, Throttle hides nothing. Here's what works the moment you sign up:
Curvy route planning
Four curviness profiles — Fast / Balanced / Backroads / Twisties. Custom GraphHopper engine. The whole point of the app.
Smart-suggest stops
Gas, food, scenic, rest — placed at the right miles based on your tank, the time of day, and what you've already eaten.
Unlimited saved trips
Every weekend's ride, every annual loop, every "I want to come back to this." Save them all.
Quick round-trip generator
Type one address, pick a duration, hit Generate. Throttle assembles a curvy loop — no waypoint juggling. For the days you just want OUT.
Type a sentence, plan a ride
"3 hours from Half Moon Bay, twisties, lunch, back by 6." Throttle pulls the times, curviness, and stops from the words.
Why-this-stop narration
One short line on each suggested stop explaining why it landed there. Not marketing copy — actual rider context.
Multi-day trips with overnight picks
Long ride? Throttle splits it across days and picks overnight stops that fit the route, not the highway.
Weather along the route
The forecast at each stop for when you'll actually be there — not the weather at home when you leave.
Verified Google Maps handoff
We check Google's routing against ours before you tap Ride. If it diverges (wrong store, wrong town), you're warned.
Trip sharing
Every trip gets a short URL. Send it to your riding buddies. They get a preview on their device; the full plan comes with a free account.
Sync across your devices
Plan on desktop, ride from your phone's browser — everything you save follows your sign-in. Native iOS and Android apps are in review.
Personalization that learns
Throttle gets better at picking stops you'll like — drops the chains you skip, boosts the kinds of places you accept.
Sign up with email, Google, or Apple. Plan, save, share, and ride as much as you want. If anything about pricing ever changes, you'll hear it from us before anything changes — no silent switches.
Start planning →No credit card. No trial timer.
The questions you'd actually ask.
Really — everything's free?
Yes. Every feature on this page, no cap on saved trips, no card on file. We'd rather have riders using the whole product and telling us what's wrong with it than a paywall in the way.
What's the catch?
"Beta" is the catch, stated plainly: rough edges ship. A route will occasionally do something weird, and features move fast. The deal is you ride while we get the product right — and tell us what breaks.
What happens when the beta ends?
We haven't set a date — the focus is growth, not monetization. Whatever eventually changes, you'll hear it from us first, and your saved trips stay yours.
Do I need an account?
You can preview a curvy route — and try the smart stop suggestions a couple of times a day — without one. Saving, sharing, and riding need a free account so your trips can follow you across devices.
Is there a teams / club plan?
Not today. If you run a motorcycle club or shop and want something for your members, email hello@throttlerides.com and we'll figure it out together.
